Affiliating


Affiliating is where two websites advertise each other. Affiliating is not when a website just takes a button from another site and puts it up on theirs; that's more like linking-to instead of affiliating. Websites who affiliate with each other usually have a section on their sites labeled affiliates.This is where they would place the other website's button or link. The website's usually have related content or express a relevant theme. Affiliates also are more for websites rather than forums, but can be used either way. And with that said, if you'd like to affiliate with DN, please read below.

I want to affiliate with DN


So you wanna affiliate with us, huh? Well then you're going to have to meet some requirements..
  1. All websites must be about Pokemon. I don't care if it's about Pokemon Games, Glitches, drawing, and so on. Just as long as it's about Pokemon in some way. (As long as it's not a Pokemon Flame site.)
  2. All websites must have the best spelling it possibly can, words like wanna and gonna are counted as real words in my dictionary, so words like those are allowed.
  3. All websites must be as organized as it possibly can, please try to keep links, layouts, content, images, and so on organized. It can be hard but please try your best.
  4. All websites must have a button that is 88x31 pixels. If you don't, and I agree to affiliate, I'll just use yours as a text link.
  5. Please, keep your content and language PG13, and when I say PG13, I mean bordering on the edge of PG and PG13, this means no "nasty" images, and no cuss words. A few are okay, but no excessive cussing, please.
  6. All websites must be in English. You can have different versions in other languages, but please have most content in English.
  7. No stolen art. You may have art from other websites and so on as long as it says you may use their images and yada yada. This rule also applies to no stolen material. If someone writes up a big guide to a game, you may not copy and paste it onto your site and claim it as your own.
  8. If there's ever been a record of you stealing art or your site getting caught for claiming others' images as your own, I will not affiliate. End of discussion. Same goes for material-theft.
  9. I'll only affiliate with websites, not forums. Sorry ):
  10. Your site must have a decent number of pages with good information. Whether 'decent' stands for 5 or 15, it depends on what website and I'll be the one to judge.

This is all I can think of for now; I will add more requirements when needed. But if you fit all the requirements, feel free to contact us with your website's URL and button/image and I'll give you mine. Or if you don't like using the Contact Us system, feel free to sign the guest book saying you'd like to affiliate and I will contact you!
